Technical information
The server uses your connection’s IP address to limit repeated form submissions. Hosting infrastructure may record routine request and security information. Application error logs record failure types and request identifiers, rather than the text of your message.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 automatically to understand visits, traffic sources, page engagement and interactions. There is no analytics prompt. Google processes technical information such as browser and device type, language, screen size, approximate location and cookie identifiers. Google receives network information when your browser connects to its service.
We measure page visits, scroll depth, visible sections, link and button clicks, research interest, use of the molecular illustration, contact-form starts and outcomes, and page performance. We do not send the text you type into the contact form, identify you by name or email, or record your screen or keystrokes. Our custom events omit URL query strings and fragments; campaign labels are limited to marketing tags.
Analytics starts automatically unless you previously disabled it or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal. Advertising storage, advertising personalization and Google Signals are disabled. Disabling analytics does not limit access to the website or contact form.
Use “Disable analytics” in the footer to opt out on this browser, or “Enable analytics” to change a previous opt-out. Your explicit preference is kept in a first-party preference cookie for up to 180 days. Google Analytics uses first-party analytics cookies with a configured lifetime of up to 180 days, renewed on later visits. Disabling analytics stops tracking on this browser and removes these analytics cookies; it does not automatically erase data already received by Google.
Google’s processing and retention are governed by the Analytics property’s settings and applicable service terms. See Google’s privacy policy (opens in a new tab) and Google Analytics data safeguards (opens in a new tab).
